Studio Project Manager (Maternity Cover)
Light & Wonder is seeking a Studio Project Manager for a maternity cover position within the Bons Vivants Studio in Montreal. The role is responsible for the successful delivery of projects, including new game content, launching content into new markets, and significant feature improvements.
The Studio Project Manager will oversee multiple projects operating within a matrix organisation, utilising resource pools with a wide range of skill sets. This candidate will be expected to work independently but provide frequent updates to the Studio Management Team and escalate promptly when risks or issues cannot be managed within the project. They will also be expected to take opportunities to highlight areas to improve project management and development practices.
- Day to day management of assigned projects working to ensure delivery against agreed project requirements.
- Understand and actively remove impediments for project teams and project requirements.
- Create detailed project plans with project teams, ensuring these are clear, understood and tracked.
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies identified on projects. Escalate as appropriate.
- Coordinate, where required, when business processes needed for project success utilise teams external to the project.
- Update internal reporting packs focusing on project delivery.
- See projects through to completion.
- Assist in coordination relating to project specific production incidents and escalations that occur during project timelines.
- Identify process improvements and raise these with the respective Capability leads.
- Support financial management, including project creation and time tracking.
- 3-5 years Previous Project Management experience (required)
- Experience using tools such as Microsoft Project, Sharepoint, Monday.com, JIRA & Confluence (required)
- Highly adaptable and able to move with change within the projects / business (required)
- Resilient and able to work well under pressure (required)
- Strong organisation, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills (required)
- Strong reporting & presentation skills (required)
- Confident speaker (required)
- Detail-oriented (required)
- Project Management certifications such as APM, PMQ, PRINCE2 or Agile (nice-to-have)
- Servant Leader experience (nice-to-have)
