Betting Offer Senior Specialist
The Lottomatica Group is seeking a Backend Developer with statistical expertise to join the Technology and Operations Department. This role focuses on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of backend applications using .NET Core and C#.
The successful candidate will support the team in developing applications based on microservices architecture and distributed systems. They will contribute to the development of features that interact with relational databases (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), following the team's best practices.
Participation in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines, as well as build and deployment processes, is expected. The role also involves using Git and GitLab for source code management and leveraging AI-powered tools to support software development, debugging, documentation, and test generation.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of backend applications using .NET Core and C#.
- Support the team in developing applications based on microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Contribute to the development of features that interact with relational databases (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), following the team's best practices.
- Participate in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines, as well as build and deployment processes.
- Use Git and GitLab for source code management, collaborate through merge requests, and follow the team's branching strategy.
- Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to support software development, debugging, documentation, and test generation.
- Knowledge of C# and .NET 6 (or later), gained through academic studies, personal projects, internships, or early professional experience (required).
- Understanding of RESTful API development principles (required).
- Familiarity with relational databases, particularly SQL Server (required).
- Basic knowledge of Git and standard version control workflows (required).
- Good working knowledge of Visual Studio (required).
- Eagerness to learn modern software development tools, methodologies, and best practices (required).
