Solution Architect

Description

Lottomatica Group is looking for a Solution Architect to join its Operations & Technology Department. The role involves leading the definition of end-to-end digital solution architectures, ensuring consistency across .NET backends, Angular web frontends and Flutter mobile applications, while defining shared architectural principles, standards, reference architectures, patterns and technology guidelines.

The Solution Architect will translate functional and non-functional requirements into application, integration and deployment architectures, designing RESTful APIs, distributed systems and synchronous or event-driven integrations. The role also involves evaluating technologies and solutions based on cost, risk, scalability, time-to-market and operational sustainability.

Furthermore, the Solution Architect will govern architectural decisions through Architecture Decision Records, design reviews and quality gates, ensuring that security, privacy, performance, resilience, observability, accessibility and maintainability are embedded from the earliest design stages. Collaboration with Product, Business, Engineering, DevOps, Security and external partners is key to defining technology roadmaps, identifying dependencies and architectural risks, managing technical debt, and planning modernization and migration initiatives. The role promotes modularity, reuse and standardization of shared components, supporting teams through mentoring, design reviews, code reviews, workshops and knowledge-sharing activities.
