- Lead AML/ATF readiness for the Ontario launch, working cross-functionally to implement and test monitoring, screening and reporting controls.
- Lead the ML/TF risk assessment and keep it current as new products, markets and payment methods are launched.
- Run transaction monitoring day to day by setting rules, tuning alerts, reviewing activity, and ensuring the right activity is caught across deposits, withdrawals, betting and gaming.
- Investigate unusual behaviour, such as structuring, minimal-play cash-outs, collusion, third-party funding and mule accounts, and make decisions on escalated cases.
- Manage customer risk, enhanced due diligence and source of funds/wealth reviews, ensuring sanctions, PEP and HIO screening matches are resolved or escalated.
- Prepare and submit required AML reports, including Suspicious Transaction Reports and Casino Disbursement Reports, in line with iGO and FINTRAC requirements.
- Own AML deliverables to iGO and the AGCO, and lead the company through audits, effectiveness reviews and regulator examinations.
- Design and deliver AML/ATF training, turn AML data into clear metrics for senior leadership, and act as the go-to AML expert across the business.
- 5+ years in AML/ATF compliance, ideally in online gambling, payments, fintech or banking (required).
- Experience leading investigations, people or a program (required).
- Knowledge of PCMLTFA and FINTRAC guidance (required).
- CAMS, ICA or an equivalent certification (nice-to-have).
- Understanding of Ontario igaming, including AGCO Standards and iGO AML requirements (required).
- Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring, case management and screening tools (required).
- Comfortable digging into data using SQL or BI tools (nice-to-have).
- Sharp investigative judgement and clear writing skills (required).
- Experience supporting audits or regulatory examinations and driving remediation (required).
- 24 days off, with applicable Ontario public holidays counted separately.
- 3% RRSP match from day one.
- Full health benefits including dental, vision, life insurance, income protection, and an EAP from day one.
