Senior Data Analyst

Description

Midnite is looking for a commercially minded Senior Data Analyst to help Midnite make smarter decisions through sharp analysis and close stakeholder partnership, with the BI craft to turn that work into reporting people trust. This is a broad analytics role for someone who knows BI well. The successful candidate will build impactful self-serve dashboards in Omni and help raise dashboard standards, and work across Product, Growth, Casino, Sportsbook, Commercial and Trading to turn ambiguous questions into clear briefs and actionable recommendations. The role also involves supporting strategic analytics projects and finding better ways to get stakeholders the data and insight they need, helping shape how analytics supports decisions as Midnite scales.

Responsibilities
  • Turn business questions into structured briefs, clear analysis and recommendations that have an impact.
  • Build strong, consistent reporting in Omni, and help raise dashboard standards across the team.
  • Build self-serve tools that let stakeholders explore data on their own, rather than coming to an analyst for every question.
  • Support strategic analytics projects across the business, from customer intelligence to experimentation.
  • Partner closely with Product, Growth, Casino, Sportsbook, Commercial, and Trading stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, risks, and commercial opportunities in the data.
  • Communicate findings clearly and influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to raising analytical maturity across the business as it scales into new markets.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of data analytics experience, with advanced SQL and strong analytical problem-solving capability (required).
  • Strong BI experience, ideally with Omni or Looker, and can take a dashboard from stakeholder discovery and briefing through to launch and iteration (required).
  • Commercially minded, curious, and customer focused (required).
  • Can independently structure analysis, tell a clear data story, and influence senior stakeholders (required).
  • Builds strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams (required).
  • Is comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-moving environments (required).
  • Takes a pragmatic, collaborative, and outcome-oriented approach to problem-solving (required).
  • Betting or gaming industry experience (preferred).
  • Exposure to dbt or analytics engineering, conversational analytics and Python are all bonuses rather than requirements (nice-to-have).
Benefits
  • Salary up to £90,000.
  • Private health insurance with zero excess, including optical cover and optional dental.
  • Income protection to protect your earnings and give you peace of mind.
  • Tenure holiday policy. After three years you receive an extra two days leave, increasing to 30 days annually after five years.
  • Flexible working and a fully supported home office setup so you can do your best work from home.
  • Nursery salary sacrifice scheme helping parents save thousands each year on nursery fees.
  • Salary sacrifice schemes for tech and holidays so you can spread the cost of the things you want.
  • Retail discounts and subscription perks across a wide range of brands.
  • Quarterly team socials to connect, celebrate and have fun together.
