DevSecOps Engineer
We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to help integrate security practices into our development and cloud infrastructure processes. This role will act as a bridge between the Cyber Security and DevOps teams, supporting the implementation of practical security controls within CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and containerised applications. The DevSecOps Engineer will work closely with engineering teams to embed security into development workflows, automate security checks, and assist in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities throughout the software development lifecycle. This position focuses on hands-on implementation and collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring that security controls are integrated into modern DevOps environments without slowing down development.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., SAST, dependency scanning, container scanning) and Cloud environments.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to implement secure cloud infrastructure practices.
- Support IAM configuration and least-privilege access models across cloud environments.
- Identify and assist in remediating cloud misconfigurations and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
- Participate in threat modelling and security reviews for new services and platform components.
- Ensure cloud environments follow security best practices and internal standards.
- Support engineering teams in triaging and remediating security findings from security scanning tools.
- Contribute to security documentation, guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Promote security awareness and best practices within engineering and DevOps teams through documentation, guidelines, and informal coaching.
- Act as the liaison between Cyber Security and DevOps teams to facilitate the implementation of security controls.
- Translate security requirements into practical engineering solutions within development pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field. (required)
- 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, DevSecOps, or a similar technical role. (required)
- Hands-on experience working with Cloud Platforms (experience focused on Azure is a plus). (required)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows. (required)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins). (required)
- Experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). (required)
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or similar. (required)
- Understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, and network security fundamentals. (required)
- Experience with security scanning tools (SAST, dependency scanning, container scanning). (required)
- Solid understanding of cyber security fundamentals and secure designs. (required)
- Familiarity with common security risks. (required)
- Ability to interpret security findings and collaborate with engineering teams to remediate them. (required)
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with engineering teams. (required)
