.NET Software Engineer
OpenBet is looking for a passionate .NET Software Engineer to support the growth of the Sportcast team from its European offices. As a Software Developer in the Trade team, the successful candidate will work within a cross-functional team that develops, deploys, and supports its own projects and outcomes.
The role involves working on varied projects to write testable and maintainable code. The engineer will participate in team design, scoping, and prioritisation discussions, with a focus on assisting the business in delivering scaling while maintaining high quality. The position requires the development and maintenance of real-time systems.
- Develop high quality, high-performing code which meets the business need.

- 3+ years of experience with .NET/.NET Core and C# (required)
- Exposure to Unit Testing, Serverless technologies such as Azure Functions, and containerized microservices using Azure Container Apps or AWS equivalents (required)
- Expertise in SQL-based databases including MSSQL and PostgreSQL (required)
- Experience with GitHub/ GitFlow workflow branch strategy (required)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences (required)
- Effective team player in cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams, with a strong collaborative mindset (required)
- Strategic and resourceful problem solver, focused on delivering secure, scalable, and value-driven solutions iteratively (required)
- Exposure to high-volume, mission-critical systems with performance and reliability requirements (required)
- Prior experience in the wagering or gaming industry (nice-to-have)
