Senior Product Manager, Risk & Compliance

Description

Paysafe is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own the development and evolution of key capabilities within its Risk and Compliance Platform. This platform is a foundational capability for the business, enabling internal teams to embed risk and compliance controls consistently, while also supporting the scaling of Risk & Compliance as a service to external products and partners. It provides reusable APIs, workflows, and configuration models that power risk decisions and controls across multiple product lines and markets.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining and delivering platform capabilities that are scalable, reusable, and consistent, working closely with engineering, risk, compliance, and product teams.

Responsibilities
  • Own the roadmap for a defined set of Risk Platform capabilities or domains.
  • Prioritise backlog based on business impact, regulatory requirements, and platform scalability and reuse.
  • Translate high-level strategy into clear deliverables and execution plans.
  • Define and evolve platform capabilities, including risk decisioning and controls, data models, inputs, and outputs, and shared primitives and reusable services.
  • Ensure capabilities are generic, composable, and reusable across products.
  • Own the definition of platform APIs and integration models, ensuring consistent interfaces across use cases, backward compatibility and versioning discipline, and clear and well-documented integration patterns.
  • Partner with Engineering to deliver platform capabilities end-to-end.
  • Work closely with Product Integration Leads and Risk Technology Operations Leads.
  • Ensure solutions are technically sound and operationally viable.
  • Enable product teams to integrate once and reuse platform capabilities, and avoid bespoke or fragmented implementations.
  • Ensure platform capabilities are easy to adopt, clearly documented, and aligned with real product use cases.
  • Ensure risk decisions and outputs are consistent across products and geographies, and are explainable and auditable.
  • Maintain integrity of platform behaviour and abstraction layers.
  • Incorporate feedback from Risk Ops and Compliance teams, Product Integration Leads, and vendor and system constraints.
  • Continuously improve platform capabilities to reduce operational complexity, increase automation, and improve scalability.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in platform or API-driven environments (required).
  • Experience working with complex, multi-system architectures (required).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, ops, compliance) (required).
  • Experience in risk, compliance, fintech, or regulated domains (preferred).
  • Strong product management fundamentals (roadmapping, prioritisation, delivery) (required).
  • Deep understanding of API-driven systems and platform design (required).
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into clear product abstractions (required).
  • Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams (required).
  • Data-driven and outcome-oriented mindset (required).
Benefits
  • The opportunity to write the history of a leading and growing multinational company.
  • Tailor-made training and ongoing development to help enhance skills in the field of online payments.
  • Multiple career progression opportunities in a dynamic in-house business.
  • Environment where product expertise, professional and personal commitment are rewarded.
  • Competitive remuneration and social benefits package.
  • 25 days annual paid leave.
  • 4 days paid volunteering time a year through our Paysafe Giving initiative.
  • Health insurance.
  • Sports card.
  • Team events.
  • Company discounts.
  • Variety of soft skills, business and technical training programs.
  • Fun and collaborative working atmosphere.
  • Flexible working model - employees are expected to work from home and spend an average of three days a week at the Sofia office as part of our hybrid work model.
