Ad Operations Specialist

Description

Penn Interactive is seeking an Ad Operations Specialist to implement and manage advertising campaigns across all of theScore’s digital and mobile platforms. The role focuses on establishing techniques and processes to optimise campaign delivery while analysing performance data to drive revenue growth and improve the overall advertiser experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining campaign calendars, coordinating with sales staff, and ensuring that reporting dashboards remain accurate. Additionally, the specialist will play a key role in implementing and testing new advertising products and integrations within the company's digital ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage advertising campaigns across all of theScore’s digital and mobile platforms.
  • Establish techniques, practices and processes to support and optimise the delivery of successful campaigns.
  • Analyse performance data to develop and implement campaign optimisation strategies.
  • Drive revenue growth and improvements to the customer and advertiser experience.
  • Run, analyse and offer insights on reports, maintain calendars of flight dates and renewals, and coordinate with sales staff.
  • Ensure that campaign reporting and performance management dashboards are maintained.
  • Implement and test new ad products and integrations.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including web, mobile app, and programmatic concepts (required).
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and a desire to continuously learn and improve (required).
  • Knowledge of or experience with third party ad servers, specifically Google Ad Manager and Teads (preferred).
  • Highly analytical with strong quantitative skills and a strong working knowledge of Excel (required).
  • Intermediate skills in HTML, familiarity with JS, CSS, SQL, web coding concepts, and third-party ad tags (required).
  • Working knowledge of analytics platforms (nice-to-have).
  • Ability to multi-task (required).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (required).
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills and an ability to come up with unique solutions to complex problems (required).
  • Excellent organisational skills (required).
  • Ability to work with strict deadlines (required).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure (required).
  • Ability to work after hours occasionally (required).
