2D Artist
Pin-Up Global is looking for a 2D Artist to join their team. The role involves creating high-quality 2D art for instant, slot, and crash games, including characters, symbols, backgrounds, environments, UI elements, props, and visual effects. The artist will design complete asset packages that clearly communicate gameplay states, interactions, rewards, risks, and features. They will also refine existing artwork and maintain a consistent visual style across projects.
The successful candidate will prepare layered files and optimised assets for Spine animation and HTML5 (PixiJS, Cocos2d) integration. They will use AI-assisted tools for visual research, concept exploration, and production support. Collaboration with the Game Art Lead, UI/UX Designer, Animators, and Project Manager is essential. The role also includes organising and maintaining a clear, structured workflow for game projects in Figma, generating ideas for improving game visuals and user experience, and actively participating in brainstorming, mood boards, and team discussions. The artist will also research and analyse game art trends, competitors, casino products, slot providers, and player preferences.

- Design complete asset packages that clearly communicate gameplay states, interactions, rewards, risks, and features.
- Refine existing artwork and maintain a consistent visual style across the project.
- Prepare layered files and optimised assets for Spine animation and HTML5 (PixiJS, Cocos2d) integration.
- Use AI-assisted tools for visual research, concept exploration, and production support.
- Collaborate with the Game Art Lead, UI/UX Designer, Animators, and Project Manager.
- Organise and maintain a clear, structured workflow for game projects in Figma.
- Generate ideas for improving game visuals and user experience.
- Constantly research and analyse game art trends, competitors, casino products, slot providers, and player preferences.
- Participate actively in brainstorming, mood boards, and team discussions.
- 3+ years of experience as a 2D Artist in GameDev (required)
- Strong portfolio showcasing GameDev projects (required)
- Strong drawing, composition, color, lighting, perspective, and visual storytelling skills (required)
- Ability to work across different art styles, including stylised, cartoon, casual, semi-realistic, and fantasy (required)
- Experience creating characters, symbols, backgrounds, environments, UI elements, props, and visual effects (required)
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop or similar digital painting software) (required)
- Experience preparing layered, production-ready assets for Spine animation and HTML5 (PixiJS, Cocos2d) integration, with an understanding of asset optimisation and performance constraints (required)
- Experience with AI-powered design tools (required)
- Understanding of game production pipeline and technical limitations of all types of platforms (required)
- Experience in the iGaming industry (required)
- Knowledge of basic animation principles (required)
