Business Analyst
Pin-Up Global is seeking a Business Analyst to join its team. This role is for an individual who possesses a structured, process- and result-oriented approach to problem-solving.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for interacting with key stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, consulting them on opportunities and risks. They will analyse elicited requirements and expectations, creating specifications in the form of user stories and use cases. The role also involves creating and maintaining documentation, such as BRDs, requirements specifications, user manuals, and maintenance manuals.
Collaboration with project managers and key technical specialists is essential for creating and approving user stories. The Business Analyst will present these user stories to the team, clarifying any points of confusion and updating them based on discussions. Facilitation of refinement sessions and interaction with QA teams during test case preparation and product testing are also key responsibilities. The individual will maintain ownership and a detailed understanding of product features and functions to identify opportunities and threats for new requirements, and share knowledge with other departments to expand the usage of advanced approaches and technologies.
- Interaction with key stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, consulting them on opportunities and risks.
- Analysis of elicited requirements and expectations and creation of requirements specifications (in the form of a user story, use cases).
- Creation and maintenance of documentation in areas of responsibility (BRD, requirements specifications, user manual, maintenance manual, etc.).
- Creation and approval of the user stories in collaboration with project managers and key technical specialists.
- Presentation of the user stories to the team, their clarification of incomprehensible and controversial points, and their updating and change as a result of discussion with the team.
- Facilitation of refinement sessions.
- Interaction with QAs while preparing the test cases and testing product.
- Ownership and detailed understanding of the features and functions of products and applications from the area of responsibility. This knowledge is used to identify opportunities and threats for new requirements.
- Sharing of knowledge and information with other departments of the company for the expansion and usage of advanced approaches and technologies.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst (required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business processes, identify issues, and propose effective solutions (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders and to transfer received information to the developer team (required)
- Requirements elicitation using interviews, workshops, observation, and document analysis (required)
- Ability to document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements (required)
- Requirements documentation (BRDs, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria) (required)
- Process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML) (required)
- Knowledge of UML and BPMN notations (required)
- Gap analysis and impact assessment (required)
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodology (required)
- Strong understanding of APIs, their functionality, and how they facilitate integration between different systems (required)
- Ability to understand data structures and map data between different systems, ensuring smooth integration (required)
- Possession of a structured, process- and result-oriented approach, a practical way to solve problems (required)
- Commercial experience with Native Apps (nice-to-have)
- Experience in igaming-related projects (nice-to-have)
- Experience and knowledge in System Analysis (required)
