DevOps Engineer
Pin-Up Global is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role involves managing and maintaining cloud and on-premises infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security for production systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with development teams to improve deployment processes and provide technical guidance on infrastructure best practices. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely or from offices in Warsaw, Limassol, or Yerevan.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud and on-premises infrastructure and services.
- Design, document, and continuously improve infrastructure architecture and operational processes.
- Manage and maintain Cloudflare services, including DNS, CDN, WAF, and SSL/TLS configurations.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of production infrastructure.
- Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to software engineers on infrastructure and DevOps best practices.
- Participate in infrastructure planning, capacity planning, and architecture design for new projects.
- Automate operational tasks and continuously improve infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE (required)
- Container orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS EKS (required)
- Cloud: AWS (VPC, EC2, IAM, EBS, RDS, S3, Route 53) (required)
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform (required)
- Configuration management: Ansible (required)
- DNS, CDN, and WAF: Cloudflare (required)
- Monitoring and observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo (required)
- CI/CD and GitOps: GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD (required)
- Version control: Git, GitLab, and GitHub (required)
- Scripting: Bash and Python (required)
- Linux administration: Debian and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (required)
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills (required)
- Experience operating and supporting production Kubernetes environments (required)
- Experience supporting high-load, highly available production systems (required)
- Experience designing scalable and highly available infrastructure (required)
- Experience with incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortems (required)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, DNS) (required)
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB (required)
- Understanding of software architecture principles, system design patterns (e.g. Twelve-Factor App), and SDLC (required)
- OpenStack, HashiCorp Vault, Terragrunt (nice-to-have)
