Lawyer
The role involves providing legal support for companies registered in Cyprus and other jurisdictions. It requires conducting legal risk assessments for new and ongoing projects and developing recommendations to minimise legal risks during project implementation.
Advice will be provided on the legal aspects of business operations, including regulatory compliance requirements. Support will also be given for communication and negotiations with regulatory authorities.
- Provide legal support for companies registered in Cyprus and other jurisdictions.
- Conduct legal risk assessments for new and ongoing projects.
- Develop recommendations to minimise legal risks during project implementation.
- Advise on legal aspects of business operations, including regulatory compliance requirements.
- Support communication and negotiations with regulatory authorities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to business activities.
- Ensure the legal integrity of transactions and safeguard the companies’ interests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) (required)
- LL.M. or other postgraduate qualification, preferably in corporate law (preferred)
- Qualified lawyer status; registration with the Cyprus Bar Association (nice-to-have)
- Strong experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents (contracts, agreements, bylaws) (required)
- Solid knowledge of Cypriot law, including corporate governance, finance regulations, data protection (GDPR), and employment law (required)
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience as an in-house lawyer, especially in corporate/commercial law, regulatory compliance, and contract management (required)
- Ability to negotiate with external parties (regulators, suppliers, clients) while protecting company interests (required)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide clear, practical advice to non-legal stakeholders (required)
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written) (required)
- Good knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian (required)
- High professional ethics and integrity (required)
- Accuracy and attention to detail in managing legal documentation and compliance (required)
- Strong collaboration skills, especially with finance, HR, and compliance teams (required)
