The role focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks to ensure high product quality across various domains.
The successful candidate will work within a multicultural environment, collaborating with developers and other quality assurance professionals to implement effective testing strategies. The position involves both hands-on coding and mentoring team members on automation best practices.
- Actively contribute to the improvement of the test framework and testing infrastructure.
- Mentor QAE in test automation practices and best approaches.
- Perform regular code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
- Safeguard product quality through proactive testing and automation strategies.
- Access automation needs in Domain.
- Advocate for quality engineering best practices, support developers in creating effective automated tests, contribute to CI/CD quality gates, and leverage risk-based testing approaches to maximize value and efficiency.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, test automation or QA. (required)
- Proficiency in Python as a programming language, not just for test scripts. (required)
- Ability to design and write modular, reusable, and maintainable code. (required)
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms, code reviews). (required)
- Experience with at least one Python testing framework (pytest preferred). (preferred)
- Practical experience in building automated tests (unit, API, UI) and integrating them into frameworks. (required)
- Knowledge of test case design and ability to translate it into automated coverage. (required)
- Experience with Git and collaborative development practices (branches, pull requests, code review). (required)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate automated tests. (required)
- Familiarity with REST APIs and libraries/tools for API testing (Postman, Python requests). (required)
- Proficiency with gRPC. (required)
- Ability to debug code and automation frameworks, not just test failures. (required)
- Understanding of test data management and working with multiple environments. (required)
- Interest in framework design and evolution (not only test creation). (required)
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to challenge/improve existing test practices. (required)
