Software Engineer (React)
The role focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of scalable frontend services using modern versions of frontend technologies.
This involves taking part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues, and optimising application performance, scalability, and security.
Collaboration with product managers, designers, and other developers is key to delivering seamless user experiences. The role also requires writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following coding standards, and contributing to mentorship and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend services using modern versions of frontend technologies.
- Take part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following coding standards.
- Mentorship, and knowledge sharing with the team.
- 5+ years in frontend engineering (required).
- 3+ years with Angular/React and TypeScript (required).
- Expert in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, responsive layouts, and component-driven architecture (required).
- Solid unit testing experience using Karma/Jasmine; testing pyramid mindset (required).
- Performance optimization (change detection, lazy loading, bundle splitting) (required).
- API integration: REST/GraphQL, WebSockets; robust error/edge-case handling (required).
- Tooling: package managers, lint/format, Git/PR workflows (required).
- CI/CD familiarity; feature flags, environment config, release hygiene (required).
- Security basics (OWASP for web), auth flows (OAuth/OIDC/JWT) (required).
- Strong communication, code review and mentoring skills; product-oriented mindset (required).
