Team Lead Retention

Description

The Team Lead Retention role is responsible for developing and executing retention strategies to improve customer engagement and reduce churn.

This involves planning and managing multi-channel campaigns across the customer lifecycle, segmenting audiences, and personalising communications and promotions based on user behaviour and data insights.

The role requires analysing campaign performance, conducting A/B tests, and optimising for key performance indicators. Collaboration with Product, BI, and Creative teams is essential to ensure consistent and effective user experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute retention strategies to improve customer engagement and reduce churn.
  • Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns across the customer lifecycle.
  • Segment audiences and personalise communications and promotions based on user behaviour and data insights.
  • Analyze campaign performance, run A/B tests, and optimise for key KPIs (LTV, retention, churn).
  • Collaborate with Product, BI, and Creative teams to ensure consistent and effective user experiences.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in retention, CRM, or lifecycle marketing roles (required).
  • Experience in segmentation, customer journey mapping, and lifecycle communication (required).
  • Background in industries such as e-commerce, iGaming, fintech, SaaS, or mobile apps (nice-to-have).
  • Experience in drafting and conducting marketing activities for player retention and return (required).
  • Knowledge and ability to calculate the economy of the basic mechanics of bonuses, tournaments, lotteries, daily quests (required).
  • Strong English skills, with ability to write and communicate briefs and tasks (required).
  • Experience with client segmentation, preferably RFM (required).
  • Knowledge of marketing and niche metrics: CvR, Margin, LTV, ARPU, RR, GGR, NGR, etc. (required).
  • Understanding of basic approaches to A/B testing and hypothesis testing to optimise marketing activities (required).
  • Experience working with analytics tools: GA, Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio (required).
  • Knowledge of market and competitor analysis methods (required).
  • Familiarity with leading game and slot providers, as well as the iGaming product landscape (required).
  • Strong understanding of casino player behaviour, user lifecycles, and effective retention techniques (required).
  • Awareness of key sports commonly featured in betting lines, including major teams, clubs, and athletes (required).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, customer support, and user acquisition (required).
  • Detail-oriented, highly organised, and proactive (required).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment (required).
  • Strong leadership mindset and result-oriented approach (required).
