Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Analyst
The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of general policies and procedures relating to Anti-Money Laundering. In addition, the ideal candidate will support the AML Team Lead and wider FinCrime Team to make decisions and deliver a service that protects and enhance the reputation of the company.
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform core AML/KYC, Due Diligence (incl. Source of Funds and Source of Wealth checks), watchlist screening and financial crime customer risk assessments to help ensure Pinnacle remains compliant in this highly regulated industry and enable our operations to be effective and efficient across all aspects of the business.
- Review and action transactional alerts while reviewing forensic customer data.
- Conduct efficient and accurate Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks on new and existing clients.
- Ensure satisfactory traceability and record keeping.
- Carry out investigations and background checks to ascertain customers' source of wealth (SOW) and source of funds (SOF).
- Ensuring that actions taken on customer accounts are in adherence with Policies, Procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Complete tasks, projects and workload at a level that maintains high level of quantity and quality.
- Identify any concerns in relation to responsible gaming, and where necessary raise concerns through the appropriate channels in line with our social responsibility processes to other internal teams.
- Assist the AML Team Lead with ad-hoc departmental tasks.
- Assist the AML Team Lead and FinCrime Manager on handling escalations and complex KYC cases and suspicious activity to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments such as Responsible Gaming, Fraud, Customers Service and other operational teams.
- Assist in the investigation and reporting of Suspicious Activity Reporting / Suspicious Transaction Reports, as well as ongoing monitoring and compiling of due diligence documentation.
- Evaluate and identify suspicious behavior, investigate and work together with other stakeholders to take the appropriate action according to the levels of risk.
- Help the company fulfill regulations and compliance set forth by regulatory authorities across different jurisdictions.
- Working in partnership with the entire AML Team for timely delivery of daily, weekly and monthly tasks, including internal and external reporting.

- 1-2 years’ experience in AML Analyst position with proven high quality performance records and exposure to AML matters (required)
- Experience within regulated online gambling sector (required)
- KYC/SOF/SOW analysis of clients and understanding the due diligence of client documentation is essential (required)
- Knowledge of AML Regulations within iGO, MGA, SGA, CGA territory (nice-to-have)
- Experience in undertaking complex AML/CFT investigations (required)
- AML Certifications (e.g. ACAMS, ICA) desirable (nice-to-have)
