Esports Live Trader
The Esports Live Trader is responsible for controlling and pricing markets for Pinnacle Props to increase profitability while managing financial risk. The role involves monitoring esports events for potential problems and inefficiencies in algorithms, conducting in-depth research on assigned markets, and providing feedback to management regarding risk management strategies and product improvements.
This position requires a candidate who can effectively analyse customer behaviour and betting markets. The individual will work within the Esports Live Trading department to ensure the accuracy and competitiveness of the company's offerings.
- Customer analysis.
- Monitoring all aspects of the Esports events for potential problems and inefficiencies in the algorithms.
- In depth research of the assigned market - that includes but is not limited to: outside betting markets, sport analysis, wager analysis and customer analysis.
- Providing feedback to management about ideas on how to improve the assigned task - this includes but is not limited to: new strategies for risk management, new product offerings, improvement to current product offerings, improvement on existing tools.

- Fluency in written and spoken English (required)

- Understand via experience how lineup news/changes impacts other players in the game (required)
- Esports enthusiast (required)
- 2/3 years experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Experience thinking in terms of Probability - such as advanced math training or relevant job experience (required)
- Experience in programming (any language) would be a plus but not a requirement (nice-to-have)
