Live Football Trader
The role of the Live Football Trader is to control and price markets for Pinnacle to increase profitability while managing financial risk. This involves monitoring live football events and analysing in-play market movement, customer activity, and potential risk or pricing opportunities.
The individual will also conduct customer analysis and monitor sporting events for potential problems and inefficiencies in the algorithms. In-depth research of assigned markets, including outside betting markets, sport analysis, and wager analysis, is crucial. Furthermore, the role requires providing feedback to management on ideas for improving assigned tasks, such as new strategies for risk management, new product offerings, and improvements to current product offerings and existing tools.
- Monitoring and trading live football events, particularly CFL, NCAA, and NFL games.
- Analyzing in-play market movement, customer activity, and potential risk or pricing opportunities.
- Performing customer analysis.
- Monitoring all aspects of sporting events for potential problems and inefficiencies in the algorithms.
- Conducting in-depth research of assigned markets, including outside betting markets, sport analysis, and wager analysis.
- Providing feedback to management about ideas on how to improve the assigned task, including new strategies for risk management, new product offerings, improvement to current product offerings, and improvement on existing tools.
- Accurate and fast mathematical skills (required).
