Pregame/Live Trader
The Pregame/Live Trader is responsible for controlling and pricing markets for Pinnacle Props to increase profitability while managing financial risk. The role involves monitoring sporting events for potential problems and inefficiencies in algorithms, as well as conducting in-depth research into assigned markets.
This position requires a proactive approach to risk management and product development. The trader is expected to provide feedback to management regarding new strategies, product offerings, and improvements to existing tools to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge in the sports betting industry.
- Customer analysis.
- Monitoring all aspects of sporting events for potential problems and inefficiencies in the algorithms.
- In-depth research of the assigned market, including outside betting markets, sport analysis, wager analysis, and customer analysis.
- Providing feedback to management about ideas on how to improve the assigned task, including new strategies for risk management, new product offerings, and improvements to current tools.
- Accurate and fast mathematical skills (required)

- Fluency in written and spoken English (required)

- 2/3 years experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Experience thinking in terms of probability, such as advanced math training or relevant job experience (required)
- Experience in programming (any language) (nice-to-have)
