Front End Developer
Playtech's Casino team is looking for a proactive and curious Front End Developer who is passionate about building innovative game features and exploring new technologies.
The influential mission of this role involves developing and maintaining high-quality frontend solutions for the innovative gaming engine. Responsibilities include implementing new features, contributing to continuous improvements in functionality, and debugging, troubleshooting, and optimising code to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience. The developer will apply software design principles to ensure the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of solutions, and collaborate closely with a team of developers to innovate and bring new game concepts to life.
- Develop and maintain high-quality frontend solutions for our innovative gaming engine.
- Implement new features, and contribute to continuous improvements in functionality.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise code to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Apply software design principles to ensure the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of our solutions.
- Collaborate closely with a team of developers to innovate and bring new game concepts to life.
- 3+ years of front-end development experience in gaming or game-related environments (required)
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with TypeScript and JavaScript (required)
- Strong understanding of the Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigm (required)
- Analytical, flexible, motivated to learn, and focused on quality (required)
- Communicate comfortably in English at an intermediate level or above (required)
- Experience with PixiJS or other rendering/game frameworks (required)
- Curiosity toward R&D, experimental projects, and deep technical exploration (nice-to-have)
