Front End Developer
Playtech Development team is looking for a proactive and motivated Front End Developer who is passionate about creating modern web applications, solving technical challenges, and delivering outstanding user experiences.
To support successful onboarding and integration into the team, employees are expected to work from the office during the first month of employment. Following the onboarding period, the role transitions to a hybrid work model, consisting of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working remotely.
- Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
- Implement new features and enhance existing functionality while ensuring performance and reliability.
- Work closely with Java backend services and contribute to integrations between front-end and backend components.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Apply software engineering best practices to create scalable, maintainable, and well-tested solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
- 1+ years of experience in Front-End Development (required).
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (required).
- Solid understanding of modern front-end architecture and development best practices (required).
- At least 1 year of experience working with Java (required).
- Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs (required).
- Understanding of software design principles and OOP concepts (required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required).
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn new technologies (required).
- Communicate confidently in English at a professional working proficiency level (required).
- Experience with RxJS, NgRx, or similar state management solutions (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns (nice-to-have).
