Junior Business Analyst
Playtech's Casino Native Apps team is looking for a curious and analytical Junior Business Analyst who is eager to learn, grow, and build a career in Business Analysis. The role involves learning and growing under the mentorship of a Senior Business Analyst, gaining hands-on experience in Business Analysis practices. The successful candidate will assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements across multiple projects, and support the Senior Business Analyst in preparing Jira tasks, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. This role also includes creating and maintaining project documentation in Confluence and Jira, reviewing mockups, and verifying their alignment with documented requirements. Collaboration with Backend and Frontend teams is key to delivering a continuous stream of enhancements and projects within the Casino Native Apps product area.
- Learn and grow under the mentorship of a Senior Business Analyst, gaining hands-on experience in Business Analysis practices.
- Assist in gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements across multiple projects.
- Support the Senior Business Analyst in preparing Jira tasks, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Create and maintain project documentation in Confluence and Jira.
- Review mockups and verify their alignment with documented requirements.
- Work with JSON-based configurations and assist in analysing configuration-related requirements.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders, developers, and QA engineers.
- Support backlog refinement and requirements clarification activities.
- Validate implemented solutions against documented requirements.
- Participate in researching and analysing new business requests and product improvements.
- Collaborate with Backend and Frontend teams delivering a continuous stream of enhancements and projects within the Casino Native Apps product area.
- Relevant university degree (required)
- Around a year of professional experience (required)
- Understanding of core Business Analysis principles and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (required)
- Comfortable working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and AI-powered assistants (required)
- Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and documentation (required)
- Analytical thinking, effective communication, and attention to detail (required)
- Ability to take ownership, stay organised, and manage priorities efficiently (required)
- Passion for learning and developing Business Analysis skills (required)
- Experience in IT projects or product development environments (nice-to-have)
- Background in QA, Development, Design, or Technical Support (nice-to-have)
