Junior Compliance Manager
PlayTech is looking for a curious and proactive Junior Compliance Manager to join its Sofia-based team. This role is designed for an individual with a basic understanding of iGaming, compliance, or other regulated environments who is eager to build a career across regulations, certifications, audits, technical documentation, and project work.
The successful candidate will work with close mentoring initially, gradually taking on more ownership of projects as their knowledge and confidence grow. The role involves collaborating across compliance, product, and technical departments to ensure regulatory needs are met and documented effectively.
- Support certification and audit-related activities across different iGaming projects.
- Review and analyse regulatory, compliance and technical documentation.
- Turn detailed documentation and regulatory needs into clear, practical business requirements.
- Maintain and organise requirements and project documentation, including in Confluence where applicable.
- Collaborate with colleagues across compliance, product and technical areas to clarify requirements and follow actions through.
- Build an understanding of different gaming regulations, products and internal processes.
- Work with close mentoring at the beginning, then gradually take ownership of smaller projects as knowledge and confidence grow.
- Basic understanding of the iGaming industry and how it operates (required).
- Exposure to compliance, certifications, audits or another regulated environment (required).
- Basic technical literacy and understanding of servers, databases, and system communication (required).
- Ability to read detailed documentation, analyse information and translate it into clear actions or requirements (required).
- Confident communication in English, both written and spoken (required).
- Organised, detail-focused and able to balance several topics or projects at the same time (required).
- Proactive, curious and collaborative attitude, with the confidence to ask questions and learn from the team (required).
- Based in Sofia, Bulgaria (required).
- Hands-on experience in a junior compliance, audit support or certification-related role (nice-to-have).
- Experience within an iGaming product area (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of poker (nice-to-have).
- Awareness of gaming regulations or experience working with regulatory requirements (nice-to-have).
- Experience using Confluence to structure documentation or business requirements (nice-to-have).
- Bulgarian language skills (preferred).
