Network and Systems Administrator
Playtech is looking for a hands-on, motivated Network & Systems Administrator to support its growing IT environment in Brazil. The successful candidate will support day-to-day operations of corporate networks, servers, and IT systems. They will configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks across offices and datacenters, and install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure components. The role also involves investigating and resolving IT incidents reported by users, ensuring reliable service delivery, and following corporate security policies to maintain a safe and compliant environment. Assistance will be provided in IT infrastructure projects, documentation, upgrades, and system improvements, with collaboration with the Team Lead, peers, cross-functional teams, and external vendors as needed.
- Support day-to-day operations of corporate networks, servers, and IT systems.
- Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks across offices and datacenters.
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
- Investigate and resolve IT incidents reported by users, ensuring reliable service delivery.
- Follow corporate security policies and contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
- Assist in IT infrastructure projects, documentation, upgrades, and system improvements.
- Collaborate with your Team Lead, peers, cross-functional teams, and external vendors when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline (nice-to-have).
- Proven experience in network/system administration in a corporate environment (required).
- Practical knowledge of routing, switching, Wi-Fi networks and firewalls (required).
- Experience with VPN solutions or ZTNA (required).
- VMware or alternative vendor virtualisation experience (required).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) – networking/security fundamentals are enough (required).
- Good understanding of DNS, user/role-based access control, and general IT security practices (required).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with global teams (required).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) (required).
- Certifications such as Cisco/Juniper, Linux Admin, VMware, or Windows Admin (nice-to-have).
- Hands-on experience with Meraki devices and Wi-Fi controllers (nice-to-have).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills (nice-to-have).
