Description

Playtech is looking for a hands-on People and Culture Generalist to support its growing US team. In this role, the successful candidate will own all local Human Resources activity and be accountable for all talent functions for the Pennsylvania live streaming studio. This position supports a 24x7x365 operation employing up to 200 employees.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, empathetic, and able to connect with a diverse range of employees and colleagues. Playtech is looking for an energetic self-starter who is eager to make an impact. This role requires an HR professional with a broad skillset and the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted partner to management, providing coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Promote and explain company policies and legal regulations, ensuring all levels of management understand and embody Playtech standards of compliance.
  • Responsibly and discreetly handle employee complaints, including sensitive issues such as harassment or discrimination allegations.
  • Champion positive employee culture through engagement activities, campaigns, celebrations, and community mindset.
  • Ensure all employees complete company and legally required training activities as directed.
  • Work with local leadership to identify employee skill gaps and determine appropriate development or training interventions to address needs.
  • Maintain HRIS and payroll systems with high attention to detail, ensuring data integrity for audits and reporting.
  • Send accurate reports on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Support employee questions and resolve concerns regarding benefit programs and enrolment, payroll concerns, compensation, and other issues.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are compliant with company policies and legal requirements and advise local leadership on employment-related matters.
  • Support studio leadership with the administration and required activities to apply and maintain employee gaming licences.
  • Ensure studio operations maintain appropriate safety procedures and protocols and resolve any employee safety concerns that arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline (required)
  • 2–4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources (required)
  • At least 2 years of direct experience in Employee Relations and HR Administration (required)
  • Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations (required)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (required)
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) (required)
  • Comfort learning new HRIS software (required)
  • Experience in the Gaming and/or Hospitality industry (preferred)
  • ADP Workforce Now experience (nice-to-have)
