Poker Data Analyst
Playtech is looking for a commercially minded and analytical Poker Data Analyst to join the iPoker team. In this role, the successful candidate will transform network, player, product, and promotional data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the iPoker network.
The Poker Data Analyst will work closely with Poker Management, Product, BI, Network Operations, Finance, and commercial teams to drive revenue growth, player engagement, and network performance.
- Monitor network performance and key KPIs, including revenue, player activity, liquidity, retention, and acquisition.
- Identify performance trends, risks, and growth opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
- Analyze licensee, player, game, product, and promotional performance.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness, ROI, player engagement, and commercial impact.
- Support product and network optimization through data-driven insights and analysis.
- Build reports, dashboards, forecasts, and business cases to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting, data quality, and analytical processes.
- Experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Commercial Analytics, Gaming Analytics, or a similar role (required).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL or similar data analysis tools (required).
- Confident working with large datasets, KPIs, dashboards, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (required).
- Experience within online poker, iGaming, or digital entertainment (required).
- Knowledge of player lifecycle, CRM, acquisition, retention, or promotional analysis (required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset (required).
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (required).
- Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities (required).
- Experience with Python, forecasting, scenario modelling, or statistical analysis (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with AI tools and data-driven decision-making (nice-to-have).
- Understanding of the online poker ecosystem and player behaviour (nice-to-have).
