QA Engineer
Playtech's Casino unit is looking for a proactive QA Engineer with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. To ensure a successful onboarding experience and close collaboration with the team, employees are expected to work from the office five days per week during probation. Following the probation period, the role transitions to a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely each week.
The influential mission of this role involves configuring environments and applications, and creating test plans. Collaboration with internal teams, such as developers and product managers, is key to defining requirements. Daily work will utilise SQL, Java, and Linux command line tools. The role participates in a customised agile software development life cycle, analysing documentation and gathering information to complete assigned tasks.
Inventing and writing test cases, and contributing to automation flows by supporting the automation team and improving or developing tests are core responsibilities. Setting up and managing test environments, leveraging automated tests, and requesting or creating new ones when needed are also part of the role. Ensuring product quality through thorough testing and feedback, tracking and reporting project status regularly, and presenting project demos and sharing insights are essential. The role involves working on global-scale products and providing feedback and suggestions for improvements to products and processes.
