QA Engineer
The Marketplace team is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality software products in a dynamic international environment.
This role involves participating in the full QA lifecycle, including test planning, system testing, troubleshooting, and support activities. The successful candidate will analyze business and system requirements and translate them into comprehensive testing scenarios. They will design, create, and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports, and test automation initiatives, while also performing manual, regression, API, and integration testing of web-based applications and services. Collaboration with developers, product owners, project managers, and QA colleagues is key to ensuring product quality and successful releases. The role also includes estimating testing efforts, identifying project risks, and proactively suggesting improvements, as well as monitoring system performance and investigating issues using logging and monitoring tools. Contribution to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices is expected, along with effective communication with Playtech teams across different countries and time zones.
- Participate in the full QA lifecycle, including test planning, system testing, troubleshooting, and support activities.
- Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into comprehensive testing scenarios.
- Design, create, and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports, and test automation initiatives.
- Perform manual, regression, API, and integration testing of web-based applications and services.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, project managers, and QA colleagues to ensure product quality and successful releases.
- Estimate testing efforts, identify project risks, and proactively suggest improvements.
- Monitor system performance and investigate issues using logging and monitoring tools.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with Playtech teams across different countries and time zones.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in testing web and mobile applications (required).
- Possess a strong understanding of software development processes and the software development lifecycle (required).
- Have hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger (required).
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and WebSocket technologies (required).
- Have experience with logging and monitoring systems (required).
- Are familiar with NoSQL databases (required).
- Have practical experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools (required).
- Understand Agile methodologies and Scrum practices (required).
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required).
- Communicate confidently in spoken and written English (required).
- Have excellent attention to detail, curiosity, initiative, and a strong sense of ownership (required).
- Are self-motivated, proactive, and eager to continuously improve your skills (required).
- Experience working with microservice-based architectures (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (nice-to-have).

- Previous experience in the gambling or gaming industry (nice-to-have).
- Higher education in Information Technology or a related field (nice-to-have).
- Quality Assurance certifications such as ISTQB (nice-to-have).
