Senior .NET Developer
Playtech's Information Solutions and R&D unit is looking for a Senior .NET Developer with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core). The developer will take ownership of one of Playtech's internal business systems, ensuring its continuous development, maintenance, and optimisation.
Collaboration with front-end developers is key to implementing new features and ensuring a seamless user experience. The role also includes building and maintaining Web/REST APIs, integrating third-party services, and troubleshooting application issues to ensure high-quality performance and reliability. Writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to development best practices are also important aspects of this position.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core).
- Take ownership of one of Playtech’s internal business systems, ensuring its continuous development, maintenance, and optimisation.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to implement new features and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Build and maintain Web/REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues to ensure high-quality performance and reliability.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's development best practices.
- Work closely with product and design teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring optimisation and long-term maintainability.
- Research, evaluate, and adopt new technologies and solutions where appropriate.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
- B.A./B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience (required).
- Hands-on experience with .NET Core and C# development (required).
- Experience working with MS SQL Server, including writing queries and stored procedures (required).
- Experience with Web/REST APIs (required).
- Experience with Angular (required).
- Experience with Azure environments (required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required).
- Good spoken and written English proficiency (required).
