Automation QA Engineer (GS)

Description

The role focuses on ensuring the quality of cutting-edge gaming products through the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and the execution of rigorous test scenarios.

The successful candidate will work within an integrated environment, collaborating closely with developers to troubleshoot complex software issues and provide feedback on code quality. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying testing requirements and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation to support the delivery of exceptional gaming experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret requirements to develop positive and negative test scenarios.
  • Participate in developing of automated testing framework.
  • Develop and maintain test execution steps in an automated framework.
  • Perform manual and exploratory testing as needed.
  • Develop/utilize tools and programs to facilitate testing.
  • Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot problems.
  • Document and communicate test results.
  • Document and track product defects.
  • Adhere to team priorities and work well in an integrated developer/tester environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and develop test plans and test cases.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work closely with developers to provide feedback on code quality and functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide suggestions for improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to testing.
Requirements
  • Experience in manual testing of web applications, web services, API. (required)
  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer with Java. (required)
  • Knowledge of automated testing methodologies (BDD, DDT, etc.). (required)
  • Experience in automated test framework (Selenide /Selenium/Webdriver, etc.). (required)
  • Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Test-NG). (required)
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. (required)
  • Good knowledge of Linux. (required)
  • Experience with JMeter, Gatling. (required)
  • Understanding software testing principles and methodologies. (required)
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management. (required)
  • Experience with version control systems like Git. (required)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. (required)
  • Understanding client-server architecture, HTTP/HTTPs basics. (required)
  • Basic knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc). (required)
  • Basic knowledge of Configuration Management/Automation tools (Ansible). (required)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins). (required)
  • Experience with docker. (required)
