CCTV Network Engineer
ARRISE is a leading supplier of player-favourite content to the iGaming industry. They are a software development and services company delivering end-to-end digital solutions. To support their continuous growth worldwide, they need a driven and technical Network Engineer to join their team.
The role involves managing network infrastructure, such as routers, firewalls, and switches, and setting up High Availability VPNs to ensure reliable connectivity. The Network Engineer will also work with the CCTV infrastructure team to improve network performance and uptime, produce detailed documentation and network diagrams, and carry out daily monitoring chores with technologies such as Grafana, PRTG, and Cisco Prime. Troubleshooting network problems and providing prompt resolution, as well as updating network devices to solve coding vulnerabilities, are key responsibilities. The role also includes keeping the local area network (LAN) running smoothly by monitoring, maintaining, and managing network infrastructure devices.
- Manage network infrastructure, such as routers, firewalls, and switches.
- Set up High Availability VPNs to ensure reliable connectivity.
- Work with the CCTV infrastructure team to improve network performance and uptime.
- Produce detailed documentation and network diagrams.
- Carry out daily monitoring chores with technologies such as Grafana, PRTG, and Cisco Prime.
- Troubleshoot network problems and provide prompt resolution.
- Update network devices to solve coding vulnerabilities.
- Keep the local area network (LAN) running smoothly by monitoring, maintaining, and managing network infrastructure devices.
- 5-7 years of network engineering experience (required).
- Expertise in TCP/IP networking (required).
- Understanding of switching technologies (Ethernet, VLANs, and Spanning Tree) (required).
- Knowledge of VPN, MPLS, and QoS technologies (required).
- The ability to analyze sniffer traces with tools such as Wireshark (required).
- Understanding of application layer protocols like SNMP, HTTP, SMTP, DNS, and DHCP (required).
- Familiarity with Syslog protocol (required).
- Knowledge of security technologies such as IPSec, UTM, and DDoS (required).
- Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems (required).
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as ESXi and Proxmox (required).
- Knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, as well as related technologies (required).
- Understanding of HA techniques such as VRRP, HSRP, VSS, VPC, Multichassis Etherchannel, and Fabric Extenders (required).
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent is required (required).
- Cisco certifications or equivalent training (required).
