Head of HR
The Head of HR will shape and implement HR strategies, standards, and processes tailored to the operational needs and regulatory requirements of the Live Casino location, ensuring consistent performance, compliance, and a high-quality employee experience.
This role involves leading, mentoring, and supporting the on-site HR team to deliver seamless HR services across onboarding, documentation management, payroll input, performance processes, employee relations, and offboarding.
The Head of HR will collaborate closely with the TA team to develop workforce strategies that support Live Casino staffing needs, including forecasting, capacity planning, and ensuring adequate talent pipelines.
Initiatives to improve employee retention, engagement, and job satisfaction will be driven, with a focus on reducing turnover in mission-critical roles.
Oversight of leadership development and management capability building for operational managers is a key aspect, ensuring strong people management skills.
The development of succession planning and talent readiness for key roles in Live Operations and supporting departments will be led.
Strong relationships with external partners such as labour offices, benefits providers, training vendors, and recruitment agencies will be maintained to ensure effective service delivery and cost efficiency.
HR budgeting for the location will be managed, including headcount planning, HR cost forecasting, workforce programs, and HR technology investment needs.
Partnership with H&S teams will ensure the work environment meets health and safety standards by identifying risks and implementing preventive measures specific to Live Casino operations.
This position serves as a strategic advisor to the management team, providing insights on workforce trends, people risks, and long-term HR strategy.
Documentation and governance of employment relations will be overseen, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and readiness for internal or external audits.
Labour market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor practices will be monitored to maintain competitive compensation structures and inform workforce planning decisions.
Support for crisis and incident response planning for HR-related scenarios such as staffing disruptions, legal issues, regulatory events, or operational incidents will be provided.
HR metrics that measure compliance, operational quality, payroll accuracy, onboarding effectiveness, and workforce trends will be defined, tracked, and reported.
Global HR and operational policies will be localized and implemented to meet the Live Casino location's labour legislation and Live Casino working conditions, in collaboration with Legal and Compliance.
Location-specific HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be developed, maintained, and enforced, ensuring consistent execution across HR and cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor or Master degree in HR, Business Administration, Law (required)
- Minimum 10 years in HR, with at least 5 years in HR Leadership (required)
- Strong background in regulated, high-volume environments (iGaming is a plus) (required)
- Proven experience in a complex international matrix organisation (required)
- Excellent cross-functional communication, leadership, and execution skills (required)
- Tech-savvy and confident working with HRIS, auditing tools, and documentation systems (required)
- Fluent English is essential (required)
- Additional languages are a strong advantage (nice-to-have)
- HR certification SHRM, CIPD or equivalent (preferred)
