Head of Lobby

Description

Sitting within the Commercial organisation and reporting to the Promotions & Marketing Director, the Head of Lobby is responsible for driving player engagement, game discovery, and revenue through the lobby across the company's ecosystem.

The role bridges Commercial, Product, and Analytics, translating insights into clear, measurable outcomes. The Head of Lobby will lead a small team covering sales enablement, operations, product validation, and data analysis. They are accountable for aligning these functions to deliver against commercial objectives, while being willing to step into the detail to solve problems directly and push initiatives forward, particularly as the function continues to scale.

This role is critical in shaping the end-to-end player journey within the lobby, ensuring it is intuitive, effective, and fun. This means living and breathing the lobby product, obsessing over real user data and metrics, and working with key stakeholders across the business to deliver against commercial objectives.

This is a hands-on leadership role that can be based in Gibraltar, Malta, Isle of Man, or remote.

Responsibilities
  • Own the commercial positioning and value proposition of the lobby product and drive adoption and expansion of lobby usage across operators.
  • Partner with Account Management to increase lobby uptake and identify underutilised opportunities across operators for the lobby product.
  • Develop operator-facing materials (decks, demos, case studies) to support sales and upsell efforts.
  • Define and deliver clear USPs for the lobby, including integration with promotional tools and other betting features.
  • Drive cross-sell between product verticals (e.g. Slots to Live Casino) through effective lobby setup and journeys.
  • Gather and synthesise client and player feedback and translate it into concrete improvements.
  • Own lobby KPIs and performance tracking across the business.
  • Translate insights into prioritised actions across engagement, conversion, retention, and cross-sell.
  • Ensure tracking frameworks (tagging, parameters, reporting structures) are clearly defined and implemented.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure tracking is correctly delivered and validated.
  • Ensure robust QA and UAT processes are in place through the team and conduct validation and testing where required, particularly for critical or high-impact features.
  • Act as the final commercial checkpoint for lobby releases and ensure features meet player and operator expectations before launch.
  • Track resolutions, verify the fixes, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyse how testing and deployment cycles are working versus expectation and formulate suggestions on how to improve them.
  • Translate commercial insights into clear product requirements and business cases.
  • Partner with Product to prioritise roadmap features that drive measurable impact.
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure features align with player and operator needs.
  • Interpret user behaviour data and identify improvement opportunities - such as featured content, game ordering, displayed assets, and layout changes.
  • Own best practices for lobby structure, content placement, and game discovery (categories, positioning, featured content).
  • Constantly playtest lobby features and document the analysis methods for repeatable evaluation processes.
  • Deliver thoughtful competitive analysis by frequently evaluating competitor products, anticipating their direction, and offering suggestions for the ecosystem.
  • Lead and develop a team covering lobby commercials and operations.
  • Set clear priorities and translate commercial needs into clear direction for the team.
  • Step in to execute where needed, particularly to unblock progress or accelerate delivery. Lead by example in a hands-on environment. Build scalable processes and structure over time without slowing down delivery.
