Description

The Human Resources Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor and partner to Live Casino Operations and other assigned business units. This role works closely with leadership to understand business objectives, shape people strategies, and deliver high-impact HR solutions that strengthen performance, engagement, retention, and organisational capability.

The role supports HR Specialists, contributes to workforce planning, and champions ARRISE Values throughout the organisation. The Human Resources Business Partner operates both strategically and hands-on, providing thought leadership while also being involved in execution to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business unit (BU) leadership to deeply understand business priorities, operating challenges, and long-term strategy.
  • Translate business needs into people strategies, ensuring HR interventions directly support Operations objectives and KPIs.
  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for Live Casino Operations in Serbia site(s), ensuring strong collaboration with local and regional leaders.
  • Contribute to the overall people plan with a focus on engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Develop and implement programs that strengthen employee morale, satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Use data, insights, and employee feedback to diagnose challenges and create targeted action plans, including Employee Opinion Survey Action Planning.
  • Coach, develop, and advise managers to empower them to fully own their people-management responsibilities.
  • Embed strong leadership behaviours that reflect ARRISE Values across teams and sites.
  • Upskill managers in performance management, motivation, communication, and team development.
  • Deliver “Leadership Academy” sessions.
  • Support early-stage employee relations matters (conduct concerns, minor conflicts, policy violations).
  • Ensure consistent adherence to the company’s Code of Conduct across all departments.
  • Work with managers to guide proper documentation, fair process, and consistent application of policies.
  • Coordinate with the ER and the Legal function for escalated or complex cases.
  • Coach managers on effective hiring decisions, interview capability, and recruitment best practices.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring teams to support workforce planning and role prioritization.
  • Ensure strong onboarding and integration of new employees, reinforcing expectations and culture from the start.
  • Define L&D approach for assigned business units based on skills gaps and business objectives.
  • Identify training needs and develop targeted development programs for managers and employees.
  • Partner with L&D functions or external vendors to deliver high-quality learning solutions.
  • Drive ARRISE Values across the employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment in behavior, communication, and leadership decision-making.
  • Work cross-functionally with HR Operations, HR Specialists, ER, L&D, Facilities, and Operations Leaders to ensure seamless HR delivery.
  • Partner with regional/global HRBPs to ensure alignment with global standards and practices.
  • Support HR strategic initiatives and organizational development efforts.
  • Lead or contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and HRIS enhancements.
  • Perform other tasks aligned with HR expertise as required by the company.
Requirements
  • HR partnering experience, demonstrating the ability to influence and advise managers across a complex organizational environment (required).
  • Proven experience implementing people strategies tied directly to business goals and performance metrics (required).
  • Experience managing or developing HR Specialists or small HR teams (nice-to-have).
  • Ability to interpret business priorities quickly (required).
  • Able to build trusted relationships at all organizational levels (required).
  • Comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels; willing to “roll up sleeves” when needed (required).
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously under pressure with tight deadlines (required).
  • Confident making decisions based on data, research, and sound judgment (required).
  • Analytically minded; able to use data to drive business decisions (required).
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in English & Serbian (required).
  • Culturally sensitive and able to operate effectively in multicultural environments (required).
  • Capable of navigating ambiguity, driving clarity, and aligning stakeholders around shared goals (required).
  • Comfortable leading or influencing processes, decisions, and organizational change (required).
