IT Specialist
ARRISE is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Specialist to join the team. In this role, the individual will leverage a strong technical background in hardware and software support to manage IT infrastructure and user devices.
The IT Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of ARRISE's IT environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced, 24/7 setting. This position plays a key role in maintaining an efficient and reliable IT infrastructure to contribute to the overall success of the organisation. This role is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
- Oversee streaming equipment including encoders, scanners, and desktop systems using monitoring tools and logs to ensure continuous high-quality service.
- Manage incoming IT support requests, focusing on maintaining critical infrastructure such as Dealer Modules, Encoders, Access Points, and Switches.
- Collaborate with the development team to test new applications before deployment and work with audio-visual, security, and IT teams to ensure proper network functionality.
- Ensure operational encoders and media servers for smooth broadcasting at live studio tables, resolving any issues promptly.
- Partner with the Head of Operations, Shift Managers, and other team members to resolve technical issues quickly, troubleshooting and replacing equipment as needed.
- Maintain workstation configurations, user access, and update internal procedures.
- Address IT incidents swiftly, ensuring resolution within SLA guidelines to prevent service breaches.
- Manage IT inventory by updating records, assigning equipment, conducting audits, and working with external suppliers to resolve IT-related issues with minimal disruption.
- Enhance and improve IT infrastructure to meet business needs, provide ongoing hardware and software maintenance, and safeguard company information to ensure confidentiality and data security.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting hardware and software for user devices in a technical environment (required).
- Strong proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux systems (required).
- Solid experience in Active Directory management (required).
- Extensive experience with hardware and software installations, configurations, and issue resolution (required).
- Proven experience with Wi-Fi networks and network management (required).
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments (required).
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving IT issues (required).
- Willingness to work across various shifts in a 24/7 work environment (required).
- Fluent English skills, both verbal and written (required).
- Relevant certifications in IT support, networking, or operating systems (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with streaming and broadcasting equipment (nice-to-have).
