Junior Procurement Officer
ARRISE is seeking a Junior Procurement Officer to support the procurement lifecycle across assigned categories. This role involves sourcing, supplier evaluation, price negotiations, purchase requisitions, and contract finalisation.
The Junior Procurement Officer will coordinate with internal departments such as IT, Marketing, Construction, and Studio Operations to understand needs and deliver solutions. The role requires maintaining accurate documentation and procurement records across platforms and systems, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and budget allocations.
- Support the procurement lifecycle across assigned categories: sourcing, supplier evaluation, price negotiations, purchase requisitions, and contract finalisation.
- Coordinate with internal departments (IT, Marketing, Construction, Studio Operations, etc.) to understand needs and deliver solutions.
- Conduct timely supplier benchmarking to identify procurement and qualified vendors and ensure competitive pricing.
- Maintain accurate documentation and procurement records across platforms and systems.
- Track and follow up on deliveries, contract timelines, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and budget allocations.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing purchase orders, RFQs, and basic contract terms.
- Collaborate closely with team leads and Head of Procurement on project-based initiatives and process improvements.
- Bachelorâs degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal (required).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities (required).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment (required).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills (required).
- Strong communication and follow-up skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders (required).
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within a global procurement environment (required).
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach (required).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy (required).
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and integrity (required).
- 1â2 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Administrative Support, Operations, or related fields (required).
- Previous experience working with supplier quotations, purchase orders, vendor communication, or invoice follow-up (required).
- Exposure to procurement or ERP systems such as Precoro, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar platforms (preferred).
- Experience working in an international or multicultural business environment (preferred).
- Basic understanding of sourcing processes, supplier management, and procurement workflows (required).
- Experience with Excel or Google Sheets for comparisons, tracking, and reporting (required).
- Exposure to import, logistics, or local vendor sourcing activities in Brazil (preferred).
