Procurement Specialist
The company is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage procurement activities from sourcing and negotiation to contract implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities while working closely with category leads, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers.
This role involves managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to deliver value to the organisation.
- Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure terms that are favourable for the company.
- Lead negotiations with vendors, ensuring contract terms meet the company needs and deliver value.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requesting quotes, evaluating bids, and issuing purchase orders.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal standards, and industry best practices.
- Monitor and optimise procurement spending, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Oversee the delivery process, ensuring goods and services are received on time and meet quality standards.
- Work closely with various departments (finance, operations, etc.) to understand their procurement needs and provide tailored support.
- Maintain detailed records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance, and generate reports as needed.
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
- 2 - 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management (required).
- Experience in the media, entertainment, or tech industry (nice-to-have).
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in managing supplier relationships (required).
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems (required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (required).
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail (required).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines (required).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate cost-saving opportunities (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (required).
