Product Marketing Presentation Designer

Part of that process includes an intricate product development and release process that requires slick internal communications and even more wow factor for external communications. That’s where you would come in: they’re looking for a superstar product marketing presentation designer who can work with the team to breathe life into their materials by taking their products and making them shine.
If you’re able to expertly communicate your vision visually, composite artwork and type into masterpiece slides, work with multiple stakeholders with many communicative styles, condense complicated features and descriptions into simple bite-sized concepts, and work tirelessly to market products in service of entertaining their players, you’ll fit right in.
Reporting to the Director of Brand & Marketing Operations and working closely with everyone involved in product marketing, this is a hands-on role that can be on the ground with the team or based remotely.
- Design stunning & compelling presentations with visual narratives that will be used to present to internal stakeholders, commercial teams, and external operator partners.
- Work closely with the presentation specialist to develop the narrative in a way that the specialist can take your visuals and deliver them to the world through internal broadcasts, keynotes, and conferences.
- Sit with product teams to help define, conceptualise how new products & features will be presented. This will include participating in the product development process and understanding more about the games themselves.
- Advise marketing and product on the kinds of materials that would be perfect for use in the presentations to best showcase their games, products, and features.
- Lead new marketing presentation creative from start to finish.
- Use AI, where appropriate, to further enhance their materials and assets.
- Iterate concepts clearly, concisely, and effectively with the team and stakeholders.
- Prepare tidy, thoughtful, and well-structured source files for reuse and further iteration as their portfolio continues to evolve.
- Assist the product development and marketing teams with pulling and preparing assets for use in the materials.
- Adjust presentation designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Document your approach to presentation designs so that other team members (or other teams) clearly understand the design decisions and how to use, implement, or maintain the outputs.
- Push the boundaries of their product marketing materials to deliver wow-impact presentations every single time.
- Define and evolve their presentation design language to weave consistency and familiarity throughout their many releases (that you will be responsible for) while still giving them enough flexibility to try new things.
- Make their presentations emblematic of their branding, going as far as making their style, visual impact, and narrative emblematic uniquely positioned.
- Thoughtfully consider how presentations fit into the broader design language of the business and how an individual presentation’s design language may extend beyond the current release and their overall library of materials.
- Understand what their competitors are doing differently and to help them identify elements that they may want to incorporate.
- Set yourself up to reliably deliver high-quality, pixel-perfect assets at pace.
- Evaluate technologies that can help augment their design pipelines.
- Keep an eye on broader design trends and tools, especially within the gaming and entertainment spaces, to ensure that they are keeping up with best design practices and exceeding customer expectations.
- Extensive background in design-centric roles (required).
- Exceptional portfolio that showcases high-end, modern, and strategic presentation design – ideally for gaming, technology, and entertainment companies (required).
- Must have worked in a senior product marketing or agency capacity where you’ve designed high-stakes presentations, pitch decks, and websites/microsites (required).
- Mastery of popular vector and bitmap design tools like PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides (plus Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) (required).
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing detail or visual excellence (required).
- Solid engagement with product and technical teams to understand how to request and present materials (required).
- Understand how to take more complex and technical features and make them simple, engaging, and compelling (required).
- Having the ability to delve into graphic design, motion graphics, animation, or video outside of product and UI design is a plus (nice-to-have).
- Ideally you will have some technical background or knowledge (preferred).
- Love games, technology, and software – to succeed in this role, you need a passion and respect for the product you’re presenting (required).
