QA Engineer

Description

ARRISE is looking for a QA Engineer to join its technical team. The role involves ensuring the quality of software releases through rigorous testing processes and collaboration with development teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full testing lifecycle, from requirement analysis and test planning to execution and production delivery. This position requires a professional who can maintain high standards of software performance and reliability within a fast-paced iGaming environment.

Responsibilities
  • Go through the software requirements and get clarifications on one's doubts.
  • Become familiar with the software under test and any other software related to it.
  • Understand the master test plan and/or the project plan.
  • Create or assist in creating own test plan.
  • Generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents.
  • Procure or create test data required for testing.
  • Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated).
  • Deliver releases to production using CI/CD tools.
  • Report test results.
  • Update test cases based on the discovered defects.
  • Support the team with testing tasks as required.
  • Keep himself / herself up-to-date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools (e.g. automated testing tools and test management systems) and the overview of the business domain.
Requirements
  • Working as Quality Assurance Engineer for 5+ years (required)
  • Good experience in Manual Testing of Web applications with the main focus on backend part of the software (required)
  • Hands on experience of API testing using Postman or other similar tools (required)
  • Good knowledge and practical experience with Git (required)
  • Experience with Gitflow usage will be a plus (nice-to-have)
  • Practical experience with microservices (required)
  • Good knowledge of the client-server architecture and communication (required)
  • Advanced skills in requirements analysis (required)
  • Good knowledge and practical experience working with SQL (required)
  • Deep understanding and experience in software development life cycle (required)
  • Excellent skills of reading and analysing logs to identify root cause of a defect (required)
  • Ability to prioritise test cases based on risk analysis (required)
  • Intermediate English level (required)
  • Strong proactiveness and communication skills (required)
  • Knowledge and experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with Kubernetes (nice-to-have)
  • Gaming applications expertise (nice-to-have)
  • NoSQL experience (nice-to-have)
  • Knowledge and experience in writing Automation tests (Selenium, JUnit or TestNG frameworks) (nice-to-have)
