Description

The Studio Production Governance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring full regulatory compliance across all aspects of Live Casino operations within the iGaming sector. This includes the complete oversight of gaming equipment, from acquisition, installation, and certification to relocation, maintenance, and decommissioning, ensuring that every change or movement is properly tracked and reported.

The role involves managing and approving everything related to the physical environment of the studios, including the layout of operational gaming spaces, storage areas, and any modifications to studio infrastructure. In parallel, the specialist is responsible for notifying and maintaining transparent communication with relevant regulatory authorities, such as the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), to ensure that every operational step meets both local and global legal requirements.

As a Studio Production Governance Specialist, the individual is responsible for ensuring that internal processes related to corporate support and studio operations run smoothly and in full compliance with both internal policies and external regulations. This role demands more than just reliability, it calls for a proactive mindset, unwavering accountability, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates a proactive, detail-oriented approach, operating independently within the designated scope, with full ownership of studio compliance and departmental operations.
  • Coordinates all actions, decisions, and projects with the Director of Department and the global team to ensure compliance with iGaming regulations and legal standards.
  • Actively facilitates effective collaboration and communication within the team, contributing to achieving common objectives and fostering a cohesive, high-performing work culture.
  • Works in close collaboration with Project Managers, Studio Production, and Procurement departments to ensure compliance across all studio operations.
  • Performs bi-monthly verification in accordance with internal processes and procedures, ensuring all relevant records are reviewed, validated, and updated.
  • Utilises Salesforce to ensure reliable traceability of gaming equipment throughout its lifecycle, from purchase through installation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Ensures accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, facilitates real-time stock monitoring, and tracks upcoming equipment orders.
  • Generates detailed reports for audit and regulatory purposes when required.
  • Leverages SharePoint as a centralized platform for document management and collaboration, including technical documentation, compliance reports, and maintenance logs.
  • Organises and maintains the document control process, ensuring all changes, updates, and new entries are accurately logged.
  • Coordinates the internal review process, ensuring that all documents are up to date and approved before being finalised.
  • Prepares timely and accurate regulatory documentation and notifications to the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), including studio authorisations, layout changes, and notification of starting new live operations.
  • Independently manages the planning and execution of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives and events, should the decision be made to pursue such campaigns in the future.
  • Provides support for office renovations, company updates, and internal events, with a focus on operational efficiency, cost control, and ensuring compliance with internal standards.
