System Administrator
The System Administrator plays a key operational role in maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure. This position ensures the continuous, stable, and secure operation of all systems, servers, and end-user environments.
Working closely with the Network Engineer and IT Manager, the System Administrator will manage configurations, monitor performance, perform updates, and provide hands-on technical support across Linux and Windows environments.
- Respond quickly and effectively to cases as part of a close-knit 24/7 team.
- Monitor streaming equipment using dashboards and logs.
- Ensure all production equipment is fully functional.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues, replacing defective components when necessary.
- Communicate with ISPs in case of internet connectivity issues.
- Maintain up-to-date workstation records, including users, configurations, and folder permissions.
- Respond promptly to incidents and security alerts to ensure compliance with SLA requirements.
- Perform data backups and manage disaster recovery operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (required).
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to work effectively in a newly formed team (required).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required).

- Linux (Ubuntu) – working level (required).
- Windows Domain Infrastructure – AD, Hybrid AD, Policy Management, DNS, DHCP (required).
- Virtualization (VMware) (required).
- Basic scripting with PowerShell and/or Bash (required).
- LAN/WAN Networking – switching, routing, VPNs, VLANs, Wi-Fi (Cisco, Ubiquiti) (required).
- Server hardware and storage systems (required).
- Certifications such as ITIL Foundations, CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft/AWS equivalents (nice-to-have).
- Experience with streaming, broadcast, or multimedia production environments (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with Jira, SNMP monitoring tools, and ITIL-based workflows (nice-to-have).
