HR Business Partner
Quantum is looking for an HR Business Partner to join the team in London. This role serves as the dedicated people partner for the technology team, focusing on resolving personnel issues and coaching managers to lead effectively.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building career pathways, enhancing team capability, and fostering a positive culture within a fast-growing environment. The role requires a proactive approach to people management and the ability to use data to drive performance and organisational health.
- Partner the CTO and Tech leadership on every people matter, from performance and conflict to restructures and growth.
- Handle employee relations and performance cases end to end, resolving them early, fairly and in line with UK employment law.
- Build and run a culture and development plan for Tech, covering career pathways, manager capability and team health.
- Onboard and support new Tech Directors on the people side of their roles, so they can focus on delivery.
- Use people data, from engagement and attrition to time to resolution, to spot issues early and show the impact of what we do.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally supporting engineering, data or product teams in a scale-up (required).
- Confident handling complex employee relations and performance cases, with sound knowledge of UK employment law (required).
- Experience designing and landing career frameworks, manager development or similar programmes (required).
- Comfortable challenging and coaching senior technical leaders, and trusted by the people they lead (required).
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified, or equivalent experience (required).
- Thrive when working as part of a team (required).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment (required).
- Excellent written and verbal English skills (required).
