Accounts Payable Specialist
Relax Gaming is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join its finance team and take ownership of Accounts Payable operations. This role focuses on strengthening, optimising, and modernising financial processes while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and strong risk management across the AP function.
This is a hands-on specialist role for someone who enjoys combining operational excellence with process improvement, controls, and continuous optimisation. The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and strong risk management across the AP function while working closely with Finance and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Support and manage day-to-day Accounts Payable operations.
- Maintain and manage vendor data, including vendor onboarding and updates.
- Process AP invoices and ensure accurate coding.
- Handle multi-jurisdiction VAT.
- Manage weekly payment runs across multiple entities.
- Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Support CSRD-related supplier reporting activities.
- Prepare AP ageing reports, payment forecasts, and other management information.
- Perform controls and validations related to vendor setup, bank details, approvals, and payments.
- Monitor AP KPIs such as invoice turnaround time, payment accuracy, and aged balances.
- Provide analysis and insight to support cash flow and working capital management.
- Support documentation and standardisation of finance processes.
- Identify and escalate process risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to automation initiatives, process optimisation, and continuous improvement within the AP area.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and AP reporting.
- Support Group Reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with external accounting partners where applicable.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by the Head of Strategic Finance.
- 3 years of experience within Accounts Payable or Finance Operations (required)
- Strong understanding of AP processes from procurement to payment (required)
- Experience working with controls, risk management, and payment processes (required)
- Comfortable working in a structured, detail-oriented, and high-volume environment (required)
- Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented (required)
- Interested in process improvement, modernisation, and automation (required)
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills (required)
- Experience working in international organisations (nice-to-have)
- Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics is beneficial (nice-to-have)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken (required)
