Automation & AI Specialist
Rhino Entertainment Group is creating a new role to drive automation and AI adoption across the company. This is not a developer position. You will work across departments to find repetitive work, evaluate tools, implement solutions, and help people actually use them. This is a key role with a big impact on the whole organisation. You will have access to engineering resources when you need them. The goal is to find the 20% of changes that deliver 80% of the gains. There is a strong preference for buying proven tools over building custom ones.
- Run structured workflow audits across departments
- Talk to staff to understand their pain points and where they're doing things manually
- Map processes and identify what's worth automating
- Evaluate build vs. buy decisions (with a bias toward buying)
- Research automation tools and AI solutions relevant to iGaming
- Configure and deploy workflows using low-code/no-code platforms
- Integrate AI tools (document processing, chatbots, classification) into existing workflows
- Coordinate with engineering for complex integrations that need code
- Manage vendor relationships for automation tooling
- Document everything with runbooks and clear ownership
- Monitor what you've deployed to ensure it's working and being used
- Track metrics: time saved, error reduction, adoption rates
- Iterate based on feedback, discontinuing what isn't working and expanding what is
- Run periodic reviews of existing automations to find improvement opportunities
- Train people on new tools and workflows
- Find and support department champions who become local experts
- Create self-service resources: guides, videos, templates
- Report monthly on automation impact to leadership
- 2-4 years of experience in automation, process improvement, or a similar role (required)
- Hands-on experience with automation platforms (Make, Zapier, Power Automate, n8n, or similar) (required)
- Experience implementing AI/ML tools in real business workflows, not just personal experimentation (required)
- Strong process mapping skills. Given an hour of interviews, you can diagram the workflow (required)
- Track record of training non-technical people on new tools (required)
- Strong English, written and spoken (required)
- Experience in iGaming, fintech, payments, or other regulated industries (preferred)
- Background in operations, finance, or compliance (preferred)
- Familiarity with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) for more complex scenarios (preferred)
- Data skills: SQL, spreadsheets, BI tools (preferred)
- Agency. You knock on doors. You don't wait for permission. When something blocks you, you find another way. (nice-to-have)
- Curiosity. You research new tools because you find it interesting, not because someone told you to. (nice-to-have)
- Pragmatism. You'd rather ship a simple workflow today than a perfect custom solution next quarter. (nice-to-have)
- Teaching ability. You can explain automation to someone who's never used it, without being condescending. (nice-to-have)
- Comfort with ambiguity. This is a new role. You'll help define it. (nice-to-have)
