Legal Counsel
Rhino Entertainment is looking for an experienced and committed Legal Counsel to join its legal and compliance team. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in navigating the group through intricate legal landscapes, working closely with stakeholders across the business to minimise risk and support continued growth.
Rhino Entertainment seeks a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment and is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will bring a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to all tasks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including with game/content providers, payment service providers, affiliates, and other key suppliers and partners.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, from initial drafting, or reviewing through to negotiation, execution, and renewal.
- Support the resolution of disputes, player claims, and litigation matters as they arise.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contractual risk, obligations, and commercial terms, escalating where appropriate.
- Monitor and interpret changes in legal and regulatory requirements, assessing their impact on business operations and applying commercial insights where relevant.
- Build and maintain strong communication channels with key internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and transparent information sharing.
- Act as a trusted, independent point of contact for commercial and operational teams seeking legal guidance.
- Qualified lawyer having 3-5 years post-qualification experience, either in-house or relevant private practice experience (required).
- Demonstrable experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (required).
- Experience in the online gaming, or broader iGaming sector (nice-to-have).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills and sound judgement (required).
- Proactive approach in identifying legal risks and proposing practical preventive strategies (required).
- Self-driven and able to take ownership of all tasks and projects and drive them through to completion, while managing competing priorities (required).
- Uphold a high standard of work ethic, always ensuring to complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner (required).
- Experience in intellectual property and, or data protection / privacy matters (nice-to-have).
