Back Office Analyst
As a Back Office Analyst, you will play a key role in minimising risk exposure by verifying the identities of new customers and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will help protect the business from fraudulent activity by identifying and preventing the use of financial systems for illegal or suspicious transactions.
- Monitor and analyse incoming customer financial transactions in accordance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations, ensuring adherence to local and international compliance standards.
- Investigate and resolve payment-related issues, including failed deposits, delays, and duplicate transactions.
- Perform customer account reviews and verify player identities through KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures.
- Collect, validate, and archive KYC and SOF (Source of Funds) documentation in line with regulatory and internal policies.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate suspicious activity, potential fraud, and chargebacks to relevant teams.
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments of customer accounts, payment behaviours, and transactional anomalies.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfer requests promptly and accurately, ensuring all transactions meet security and policy standards.
- Communicate directly with banks, e-wallets, card processors, and other payment providers to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and user actions for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Ensure all back-office analyst duties are completed within agreed timelines and according to operational KPIs.
- Continuously review and suggest improvements to payment processes and cashier operations to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Provide support to Customer Support and Compliance teams on back office-related queries and escalations.
- Ensure full confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance in handling customer data and financial information, in line with GDPR and PCI DSS standards.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills (required).
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment (required).
- Capable of performing well under pressure and consistently meeting tight deadlines (required).
