Safer Gambling and AML Risk Analyst
The Safer Gambling and AML Risk Analyst plays a pivotal role in safeguarding players and ensuring compliance with both responsible gambling and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor and assess player activity for signs of gambling-related harm or financial risks, utilising a risk-based approach to take appropriate and proportionate actions.

- Conduct live chat interactions with players exhibiting behaviours or meeting criteria that indicate potential gambling-related harm.
- Provide support, gather relevant information, and evaluate their circumstances to determine appropriate actions.
- Manage phone calls with players when required, ensuring effective communication and addressing their concerns thoroughly and empathetically.
- Analyse and assess player accounts that trigger pre-established responsible gambling or AML thresholds.
- Evaluate behavioural patterns, financial activity, and affordability indicators to identify risks and implement necessary interventions.
- Perform open media searches to gather additional information about players being assessed.
- Ensure adherence to responsible gambling and AML policies by accurately documenting assessments and actions, maintaining thorough records, and escalating cases when necessary.
- Work closely with internal teams to share insights, develop strategies, and improve processes that promote safer gambling and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on the latest regulations, trends, and best practices in safer gambling and AML to effectively perform duties and contribute to team goals.
- Proficiency in English (required)
