Audio Visual and Broadcast Engineer
CreedRoomz is currently looking for an Audio Visual and Broadcast Engineer to join the team. The role involves participating in studio builds by installing and testing dedicated equipment, and maintaining equipment for audio-video production, broadcast, signage, and media display.
The engineer will be responsible for setting up and monitoring audio-visual links between units, quickly identifying and repairing technical faults on equipment and systems, and implementing alternative methods of service provision if possible to minimise interruptions. The position also includes setting up and operating equipment and transmission links during live broadcasts, installing custom audio-visual circuits (low power, data, video and audio cabling), and assembling hardware systems.
Awareness of health and work safety procedures is essential, as is interpreting and implementing instructions and requests from all departments, colleagues and representatives. Effective communication with the team and other colleagues is also a key aspect of the role, along with keeping up to date with the industry and changes in technology by building and maintaining a network of contacts and investigating new systems and techniques.
- Participate in studio build by installing and testing dedicated equipment.

- Advanced knowledge of photography concepts like aperture, shutter speed, ISO speed, exposure, and camera lenses (required).
- Experience in electronic engineering and using communication and broadcast equipment (required).
- Advanced knowledge of operating a video camera (required).
- Advanced knowledge of production video switchers (required).
- Experience with live chroma keying (required).
- Advanced understanding of SDI, HDMI, Network and different types of AV infrastructure (required).
- Excellent IT and Production Management skills (required).
- B2 level of English Proficiency (required).
- Native Romanian (required).
- Fault-finding skills and the capacity to solve technical problems creatively (required).
