Chinese Translator
SoftConstruct is looking for a Chinese Translator to join its team. The role involves managing the translation of various operational, technical, and marketing materials to ensure high-quality communication across different platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining localized content and ensuring that all translated assets meet the company's standards for accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Translate a diverse range of operational, technical, and marketing materials from English and Armenian into Chinese
- Deliver accurate, fluent, and culturally appropriate translations while preserving the original context, tone, and intent
- Conduct daily updates and maintenance of localized content to ensure real-time accuracy across platforms
- Proofread, edit, and review final translated assets for terminology consistency, grammar, and style
- Prioritize and manage high-volume translation tasks to meet strict turnaround times set by the unit lead
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Asian Studies, or a related field (required)
- Native or professional proficiency in Chinese (required)
- Strong professional proficiency in both Armenian and English (written and verbal) (required)
- At least 1 year of professional translation experience (required)
- Sharp eye for detail with strong proofreading and editing abilities (required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
- High sense of responsibility, ownership, and adherence to confidentiality (required)
- Proven time management skills with the ability to handle daily deadlines (required)
